But The MSI Z490 A-Pro is using the 8125B LAN controller.
I compared the files which MSI offers (v11.10.0720.2022_10202022) with the previous Realtek Driver (v11.10.0720.2022_12212022), there were no major differences in the inf-file except adding additional SubSystem IDs for different vendors.
However, comparing Realtek Driver v11.10.0720.2022_12212022 and the latest v11.11.1206.2022_03202023, Realtek made a bunch of changes for the installation and values written in the registry.
Differences are:

DelReg = DelWdfIdleAndWake.RegHW

which was in the previous driver not deleted.

[DMAr.reg]
HKR,Parameters,DmaRemappingCompatible,0x00010001

which was changed "opt-in only for external devices" to "opt-in".
I cannot judge whether one of these registry changes is responsible for the problem or whether something changed also in the binary, but could be possible.

Cheers
Tom

I don't know really. Maybe when I'll have some free time I'll go back to the problematic driver and test that again. I pretty much blame the driver since I know how a computer works and don't do any sketchy things that might affect stability - also everything came back to normal when the driver from mobo support page was installed. Thank you for looking into it and trying to find a cause!
