thanks

did you remove the chip to dump it and confirm the dump was good with multiple dumps?

I found dumping in situ resulted in random corruption every dump was slightly different
so had to remove the chip

I did not unsolder the chip. First I made one dump of the box with a color screen with NeoProgrammer, the second dump I made with AsProgrammer. Both dumps were identical. With this dump I successfully flashed the box with a monochrome screen.
NeoProgrammer identifies memory in a case with a color screen as FT25H04, in a case with a monochrome screen as ZB25WD40.
In AsProgrammer I chose N25S40 Nantronics.

Before that I broke the smart information output on the case with a monochrome screen by flashing 1.32.7 firmware.
Apparently this firmware does not support the output of such information. Then I flashed your Cofre Disco Duro 1.33.88 SPI dump. This firmware is newer but does not have PERIPH_API = 0x01 in the configuration responsible for RTL9201R communication with an additional controller for display on the screen.

The original firmware in the case with a monochrome screen was 1.32.62

Hello,

I have an Orico 25PW1-C3 that apparently (also) ships with the RTL9201R.
I'm a complete newbie and don't have a programmer.
Is the bridge chip good so far, or does it have serious weaknesses?
UsbTreeView even says it's a 3.2 Gen 2 device (10 Gbps) – is that true, or is this a display error?

I would like to remove the sleep timer and rename "the case".
Is this possible with MPtool_Lite?
Would someone please be so kind as to briefly describe how?

Thank you in advance for any help!
Regards, Martin
