Quick comparison:
Dell removed the following platforms in sp173392.exe (compared to Intel 10.1.20490.8818):
All Dell packages (sp173080.exe, sp173237.exe and sp173392.exe) support WildcatLake (the same INF version), which is not present in Intel's official 10.1.20490.8818.
Also, sp173080.exe had significantly fewer INF files than sp173392.exe, but that doesn't really matter – all INF files for platforms other than WildcatLake are identical in version to those in Intel's 10.1.20490.8818.
Finally, sp173237.exe - this package adds full support for Wildcat Lake (PMT, HID, and system devices via null driver). Also includes an ACM for Panther Lake (TXT component).
Analysis of Dell sp173237.exe package (4 INF files + 2 SYS + 1 BIN):
1. intcpmt_WCL.inf
- Intel(R) Platform Monitoring Technology (PMT)
- Version: 11.3.11.13 (03/12/2026)
- Hardware ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_FD7D (Wildcat Lake)
- Purpose: PMT driver for WCL
2. HidEventFilter.inf
- Intel(R) HID Event Filter
- Version: 2.2.2.18 (11/19/2025)
- Hardware IDs: ACPI\INT33D5, INTC1051 (TGL), INTC1054 (RKL), INTC1070 (ADL), INTC1076 (JSL), INTC1077 (MTL), INTC1078 (RPL), INTC107B (LNL), INTC10CB (ARL), INTC10CC (PTL), **INTC10F1 (WCL)**, INTC10F2, INTC110E, INTC1134, INTC113B (GNR WS)
- Purpose: HID event filter driver supporting multiple Intel platforms including WCL
3. IntelACM_PTL_PW_1.21.18.0.INF
- Intel(R) TXT Authenticated Code Module
- Version: 1.21.18.0 (01/13/2026)
- Hardware ID: ACPI\INT_PTL_SINIT (Panther Lake)
- Purpose: ACM (Authenticated Code Module) for PTL, copied as acm.bin
4. WildcatLakeSystem.inf
- Null driver (assigns NO_DRV) for branding/removal of yellow-bang
- Version: 10.1.59.12 (07/18/1968 – dummy date)
- Hardware IDs (PCI):
- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4D22 – SMBus
- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4D23 – SPI (flash) Controller
- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4D71 – HECI #1/ESE++ HECI #2
- PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_4D48&SUBSYS_FF008086 – THC #0 (Touch Host Controller)
- Purpose: Assigns null driver to prevent Windows from installing generic drivers, ensures proper branding

My updater installs everything automatically, so why am I even checking this? 🤡
