I still have a question because I have doubts

I want to update the firmware that I described, the version is consumer, I verified it via HWInfo, my laptop is Acer Aspire f5-573G with BIOS v1.51 from May 31, 2019 (Intel i5-7200U), can it crash during the update because I have a BIOS with 2019 and Acer has not released the latest bios for this model as of today. Is there a problem with this because I saw a video of someone updating the ME region version and his laptop died immediately, of course, but it did not turn on as if the POST procedure was damaged. The question is what can happen if when flashing ME, the region (via CMD) may be damaged and is it possible to restore it to the previous version? I compared the version I have with the latest version and it is the same, nothing should happen, but I have some doubts whether it will work 100% or something will go wrong. during update
