@Shonk sorry to ask another question of you but when I got looking at the files from the latest download for the JMS583 I noticed that the file circled in red that has the gear is saying that's the configuration file and the other circled in yellow is called Bus Power bin.

When I backed up my firmware I thought it backed up the configuration file but it looks like it backed the bin file which I assume is the firmware itself,what I'm wanting to do is to back up the configuration file.

You can only backup the whole firmware with a copy of the nvram
which is the a non human readable copy of the configuration file (well it is but not simply)

which i explained above

there is no way to back up a copy you can open and understand yourself
