To be sure of your firmware, type CMD in the search then right click then run in administrator mode
arrives on c:\ makes a copy of the path of your firmware directory (see image) then execute meinfo to have the information of the current firmware

Where can i find MEInfoWin64.exe ver 16.1.xx.xxxx? @admin

First of all, thank you very much for your great work! And to everyone contributing!

I have an outdated Management Engine firmware (please see attached screenshot) and my laptop manufacturer doesn't provide updates.
Should I take the risk to flash a newer firmware? Is it even possible on a laptop with no support from manufacturer?

Have a great week end!

My notebook is for 4 years unsupported by the manufacturer, still I am able to update my my ME Firmware to the latest version and my system is patched.
The ME Firmware update doesn't touch the BIOS part, only the ME Firmware is updated.

Cheers

Thanks Tom.
Can you confirm I have to flash the latest 15.xxx LP firmware?
I read several times the topic on Win Raid forum but they don't talk about laptop chipset (mine is Intel Tiger Lake-UP3 PCH-LP)...
