New Firmware for Samsung 990 Pro SSD Version 7B2QJXD7 No information on improvements yet

 


 

The update must be done via the magnificent Samsung disk management software "Magician"
After the update, please turn off and unplug your PC for 30s to better take into account the new firmware.

Samsung is probably gradually offering the firmware to avoid congestion of its distribution network like smartphones. I am in France.

I am absolutely certain that everyone who has a 990 PRO will receive new firmware. It is nothing new that there is more than one hardware model of a given type. If you look, his was updated from 4B2QJXD7 to 7B2QJXD7. Everyone else has version 6B2QJXD7. Mine too, although mine is 1TB. It's no coincidence that his isn't 6B2QJXD7, but 4B2QJXD7.
