Thank you for this collection!
I have an ICY BOX IB-1817MCT-C31 and have verified that my factory config is the same as the supplied IB-1817MCT-C31.cfg.
However after successfully flashing the latest firmware the adapter does not work properly with an INTEL SS DSCKKB480GZ - it is displayed in dmesg, but any attempts in accessing it fail:
Any ideas? Is this adapter just incompatible with this specific SATA device?
NVME devices work fine!
Is the newest firmware not SATA capable?
I do not have any other m.2 SATA device to check.

So I bought an Ugreen device from amazon, with the dump below.
Updated it to the newest firmware from this awesome repository github.com/bensuperpc/rtl9210-firmware 1.33.44.011824, using the config file for Ugreen from there. In the config file I changed the serial number to the right serial number. Or was I supposed to use my dump as a config file?
After that it works, I can format the drive but there is no smart data displayed and the drive name is just n/a.
I guess I messed something up? Thanks for any help!
Edit: With Crystal Disk Info I can display the smart data of my WD Drive !? But I can not display the smart data with windows drive management and the WD Dashboard Software doesn't recognizw the drive. Very strange.

Completely delete the SCSI PRODUCT: "n/a" and SCSI VENDOR: "n/a" lines in the configuration file and flash again.

setting ; in the ini for SCSI_VENDOR or SCSI_PRODUCT just makes the drive pull the id from the drive for them
e.g. it passes through the data from the drive and is how Ugreen set the ini at the factory
Example
MANUFACTURE = "INTEL"
;SCSI_VENDOR = "INTEL"
PRODUCT = "MEMPEK1J016GA"
;SCSI_PRODUCT = "MEMPEK1J016GA"
his U2PHY and U3PHY at n/a is odd
