currently, I do not have any comment nor opinion about it except for Silverian to either contact HP support or post in the HP community forum about the audio driver / BSOD problem and get a response there.

I have a few of my own problems outside the computing world to deal with, especially the long extended "heat wave" here in my area .
 

also, hp sp174192   6.0.10023.1   driver package went online early morning Sept. 1 on my end

By the way, @erpster96:  a new version of the "Sonitude Audio Effects Component Driver, version 2.1.2.24" has been released, but I can't find it. I imagine there might be other HP laptop users like me who are also looking for it. Have you ever encountered this driver?
