I have been pushing gigabyte esupport for over 3 months for a bios release to add support for 14900KS to Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4
they have been giving me the run around for months anyway last week i got stroppy and they pulled a firmware build out of their ass that's 3 weeks old
This is all they said about it
Hello,
Attached F30a BIOS supports APO.
I literally had the e-mail 5 mins ago and uploaded it to mega
Mega Mirror
Z690AELITEAXDDR4.F30d.zip
Here's the Gigabyte link but i think it only stays live for something like a month
esupport.gigabyte.com/FileUpload/Answer/...ELITEAXDDR4.F30d.zip
I presume it adds support the same as F1xd does for Z790
so it should be the following

I presume it adds support the same as F1xd does for Z790
so it should be the following
- Checksum : 3766
- Introduce the "Intel Default Settings" and enabled as default, user needs to disable it first to use GIGABYTE PerfDrive profiles
- Optimize CEP and power settings
www.gigabyte.com/Press/News/2156 - Processor support and optimization for i9-14900KS
- Update Intel APO (DTT) framework version to 9.0.11405.42569
- Add EZ-OC support for AORUS x XPG co-branding DRAM (NOT DDR4 Boards)

I have just updated my 12900k + Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4 to F30d
1. N/A
2. there is no "Intel Defaults" or limits placed on this bios revision on Z690
3. Optimize CEP is there
4. Microcode Update Revision 35h (F29 was 11Dh)
5. Update Intel APO (i have this disabled but gigabyte told me its updated)
6. N/A for DDR4 Platforms
