The update allows an increase in speeds both in writing and in reading and works perfectly on my Asus TUF A1 it is rare to see a firmware bring so much difference
The gains made are due to improved support for certain SSDs.

On my side better compatibility and therefore better performances with certain SSD no name because those of big brands the performances are similar.
