I upgraded from Windows 11 23H2 Build 22635.4870 Beta to 24H2 Build 26120.3073 Beta yesterday and ended up with no sound.

The following configuration worked fine in Windows 11 23H2 Build 22635.4870 Beta:
Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.9768.1
Realtek ASIO Component v1.0.13.1
Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 for Hardware ID: SWC\VEN_10EC&AID_0001 - Windows 11
Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.821.8
Realtek Audio Console v1.52.354.0

but there is no sound on Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3073 Beta

I had to downgrade to:
Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.1.6000.1076 for Hardware ID: SWC\VEN_10EC&AID_0001 - Windows 11 before sound was working again.

Same issue even if I used a older Realtek UAD Audio Driver.

I did uninstall and removed all drivers and used Dell's Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.8991 which worked and then updated all the components to the versions above. The Realtek Audio Effects Component was already on v13.1.6000.1076
which worked until it was replaced with the newer v13.0.6000.1505 when the sound stopped working, then rolling back to v13.1.6000.1076 worked again. This is on a Dell XPS 15 9570 notebook computer.

I should also mention when there is no sound, it also made Fxsound unresponsive and when I restart the computer when the sound was not working, it also was stuck on a endless restart on the screen so it seems like it was hanging all the processes on the computer as a whole.

I normally have a headphone connected so I wouldn't have checked the sound normally unless I was going to listen to something until @ asturias7  on eleveforums mentioned Realtek Audio sound was not working with this build of 24H2 as well as Intel Bluetooth not working except my Bluetooth works fine with the Intel AX210 WiFi6E/Bluetooth v5.3.

Updated February 11, 2025:
With Realtek Audio UAD 6.0.9780.1 drivers, Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 for Hardware ID: SWC\VEN_10EC&AID_0001 - Windows 11 works for sound output but the mic does not work while v13.1.6000.1076 works fine under Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3073 Beta.  APO v13.1 did work fine with the mic under Windows 11 23H2 Beta Build 22635.4870.

Updated February 17, 2025:
With Realtek Audio UAD 6.0.9780.1 drivers and Realtek Audio UAD 6.0.9785.1 drivers, the results under Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3281 Beta are the same as mentioned under the February 11, 2025 updated information earlier.  Realtek Audio Console has been upgraded to v1.52.356.0 and still works.

With Realtek Audio UAD 6.0.9785.1 drivers, Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.833.0 drivers, Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.1.6000.1076 drivers, it works fine under Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3360 Beta but with Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1)  v13.0.6000.1505 and Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1565 drivers, mic gets disabled.

With Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.9788.1 drivers, Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.833.0 drivers, Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.1.6000.1076 drivers, it works fine under Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3360 Beta but with Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 and Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1565 drivers, mic gets disabled. However, on March 8, 2025 - I did end up getting everything working with Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 and Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1565 drivers and the mic is working properly.
This is what I did:
1) Turned off internet to go offline
2) Opened Windows Settings, Apps, Installed Apps and then Uninstalled Realtek Audio Driver which still shows v6.0.8991.1 as this is from the Dell provided Realtek Drivers installer
3) Reboot to Safe Mode in Windows
4) Used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) v18.0.9.3 to uninstall Audio, Realtek drivers
5) Rebooted to regular mode in Windows while still offline
6) Installed Realtek Audio Driver using Dell provided Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_T2GDD_WIN_6.0.8991.1_A10_02.EXE, I will describe below exactly what it installed and what I upgraded to:
Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.8991.1 upgraded to Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.9788.1
Realtek ASIO Component v1.0.0.5 upgraded to Realtek ASIO Component v1.0.13.1
Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 where the mic worked, upgraded to Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1565 where the mic also worked.
Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.0.276 upgraded to Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.833.0
7) Turn on Internet to go back online and there was no existing Realtek Audio Console application on the system
Microsoft store installed RealtekAudioControl (RtkUWP) v1.51.342.0 which I upgraded with a manual installer to RealtekAudioControl (RtkUWP) v1.52.356.0

I want to mention that previously, with the last being February 23, 2025 in which I did a in-place upgrade repair install of Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3921 Beta, I did the above as well except after step 2, I also uninstalled the MaxAudio Waves app and also reinstalled it after step #6 but I want to mention that for the Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1), it was on v13.1.6000.1076 drivers which worked with the mic and when upgrading to v13.0.6000.1505, the mic would get disabled so it seems like it could be something in the registry previously.

Sorry to post this here, but I'm keeping watch on this specific topic and everyone is trying to keep up with new releases and I very happy to leave a Thank you for everyone contributing, but the forum keeps logging me out every few hours although I check "Remember me" button, is this by design or should I fix something from my part?
