Jmicron JMS-583 NVMe/USB 3.1 Controller firmware Version 0.2.1.4

This does seem slightly faster
I have a Phison PU31 with a 480GB Phison E13 + JMS-583 its benchmarking just over 1GB/s read now in aida

I flashed it keeping the stock nvram intact so it still id's as Phison PU31

This one (Its made by Phison then badged by the oem)

Bringing this topic up again.
I have an Orico TCM2-C3 and downloaded the "new"package "Firmware+i9+Write+Protection+Ver.03+JMS583A3.zip"  from here .
After comparing the included "JMS58304.bin", the firmware 0.2.1.4 is exactly the same file which was included in the previous package "JMS583_00.02.01.04_Bus_Power.bin"
The included "ITGZXBF.bin" and "JMS583XBF03.bin" in the "Firmware+i9+Write+Protection+Ver.03+JMS583A3.zip" are the same (binary compare), but is FW v191.01.00.03  for JMS583.
No idea for which devices is FW v191.01.00.03 and what this do.

So where is the FW file 0.2.1.4B except that there is newer FW Update tool included.

I renamed the package because it only has the most recent mptool

Just to confirm 0.2.1.4C Provided by startech
The updater says its newer and proceeds to update the JMS-583 but the actual payload is identical

I Flashed it then dumped the firmware without the nvram then hex compared it to the old 0.2.1.4 its byte by byte identical to the old one

Infact there is only one byte different after flashing when comparing my dump with my nvam
which i presume is a checksum

If you dump only the payload without the nvram there are no differences

Yes it's a different package that's why I name it -A, -B, -C, .....
