thanks
i mainly wanted it as i have been trying to get firmware out of hagibis for around a year its like pulling teeth
i will watch the korea website super annoying that i had to make a naver account to download though
btw feel free to delete all of my messages in this thread if you want to declutter it

BTW I was reading through support requests on hagibis korea and he was talking about his firmware was 230525850202
AS_USB4_230525_85_02_02.bin
AS_USB4_231005_85_02_03.bin
AS_USB4_240417_85_02_04.bin (My First unit dont have a backup)
so the last digits seem to be the release number of the 02 build

Edit
My second Hagibis UD1101 enclosure came yesterday
The PCB Substrate was made 01-25 the whole unit was made mid 2025
they are still shipping with a May 2024 firmware build

It came with AS_USB4_240417_85_02_04 i tried dumping it with a CH341 but the ASM2464 pulls too much power
from the CH341 so the chip would have to be removed to be dumped

I couldnt be bothered spending ages desoldering it so just updated it to the latest generic build
so will have to live with wonky led's

I bought QWIIZLAB Fanless USB4.

This is the native twin of the HAGiBiS MC40.

It also has a two-color connection speed indicator.
Came with firmware 250417_85_1D(29)_03

When i was trying to dump the firmware on my second Hagibis UD1101 Yesterday with a CH341

I removed the fan and fitted a Heatsink while i was in there

Images of Teardown
postimg.cc/gallery/JH7jS3n

My First enclosure i cut down an M.2 heatsink with tinsnips so it resulted in the whole fan area having a heatsink and i think slightly less pad to contact the enclosure
i didnt have one spare this time to cut down so used a Raspberry Pi heatsink

It went
ASM 2464PD
0.5MM Thermalright Odyssey Extreme
Heatsink
0.5MM Thermalright Odyssey Extreme
1.5MM Thermalright Odyssey Extreme so it contacts the enclosure

Decided to go back in and add some copper and reduce the pads
This one should have better cooling on the ASM2464 than my first one now and that one is fine

Removed 0.5MM Pad between ASM2464 and Aluminium Heatsink
Added Copper Shim i trimmed to size 1MM thick and Arctic MX4 on both sides
Put Kapton tape around ASM2464 to protect Components from shorting on Copper Shim (Wasnt sure if the shim would touch a few Components on the PCB)
Fitted the PCB back whilst screwing down the PCB it pushed the Aluminium Heatsink 0.5mm deeper into the Pads contacting the Enclosure
