I suspect some devices are JMS580 badged up as JMS576
JMS576 2213 QHBA3 A E775R0013 = Mine
JMS576 2204 QHE80 A E77390021 = JMS580 Firmware
JMS576 2204 QHE80 A E773N0021 = JMS580 Firmware
I tried flashing them with no luck
I have updated the first post with newer tools
JMicron MP.Tool v1.16.16.5 (custom nvram spindown etc + Flash)
FwUpdateTool_v1_19_17_6
JMS576 01.02.00.01
JMS576 01.02.01.04
JMS576 250.01.00.03
JMS576 00.02.00.02.bin (JMS580)
JMS576 130.01.00.01 (JMS580)

Re: Jmicron JMS576 Firmware 01.02.01.04

Here I have a generic enclosure which has "JMS576 2204 QHE80 A E773N0021" chipset, it shows as JMS576 and running firmware version "00.02.00.01" although upon inspecting .bin file it does name it JMS580.
TRIM is unsupported so I tried to update it with "00.02.00.02", by the tools provided every attempt failed so I erased the flash and tried to write original firmware which resulted in failure too. In fact none of the firmware is working so maybe it's bricked.
I've ordered two more enclosures one with JMS 578 and another with RTL9201R, I'll try to upgrade JMS 578 firmware and check out if RTL9201R supports trim or not. As far as I can find out, Jmicron just uses same firmware in different chipsets, I'll fiddle about the bricked JMS576 when I'll have a bit of free time.

RTL9201R supports trim and uasp its the best bang for buck chip by far with the best featureset
and is my current goto chip bang for buck
My Ranking for current Sata Chipsets
1)ASM235CM 10Gbps
2)ASM225CM 5Gbps (ASM235CM locked at 5Gbps and can be flashed with ASM235CM firmware but is still locked at 5Gbps as its done at the hardware level)
3)RTL9201R
ASM235CM Costs me about £14 for an enclosure (as no aliexpress manufacturers really use the chip only ugreen who want £14 ish)
ASM225CM Costs me about £5 for an enclosure
RTL9201R Costs me about £2.50 for an enclosure
ASM235CM Gets about 540Mb/s
ASM225CM/RTL9201R Gets about 430Mb/s
ASM115X is obsolete dont bother with them
Same for JMS576/578
I have
5 x ASM235CM
1 x ASM225CM
15 x RTL9201R
2 x JMS576 (I dumped some old 500GB non ssd's in these 2 and called it a day unless something comes up to flash it for trim)
10 or so 2.5" Enclosures that i dont use (Shucked Drives) ASM1151/ASM1153/JMS576/JMS578 etc
15 or so 3.5" Enclosures that i dont use (Shucked Drives) Usually ASM115X but varies as above)
Here's MY RTL9201R's with Price (I like the finish of the Q6 the most but all UTHAI are the same PCB just different Enclosure Finish)

Re: Jmicron JMS576 Firmware 01.02.01.04
2 tuần 3 ngà y trước - 2 tuần 3 ngà y trước
Uploaded a new pakage with New Features enabled in the firmware
Passthrough Drive Name
Passthrough Drive Serial Number
Everything else is the same UASP and such
I use
JMS576 01.02.01.04 With Nvram ORICO 25PW1-C3 Passthrough SN+Drive Name.bin
JMS576 01.02.01.04 With Nvram ORICO 25PW1-C3.bin
is the same file without the hex editing to enable SN + Drive Name Passthrough
JMS576 01.02.01.04 With Nvram JMicron JMS576 Passthrough SN+Drive Name.bin
This i made for other's incase your device isnt the same as mine
and it bother's you about its name in eject devices
JMS576 01.02.01.04 With Nvram JMicron JMS576.bin
is the same file without the hex editing to enable SN + Drive Name Passthrough
You can use FwUpdateTool_v1_19_17_6 to flash any of these
If you want custom naming use JMMassProd_v1_16_16_5
set your customizations and click start
when you have unplugged it and plugged it back in
open FwUpdateTool_v1_19_17_6
Tick RD Version
Tick Backup Old Firmware only
Make Sure Include NVRAM is ticked
Click Run
it will create FW.bin you can then hex edit the file
see JMS576 Hex Editor.png for Passthrough SN+Drive Name
once you are sure you havnt messed anything up
just flash it with FwUpdateTool_v1_19_17_6
Can Be done like so if you want to do it yourself
I jotted a few other things down in JMS576 Hex Editor.txt

Re: Jmicron JMS576 Firmware 01.02.01.04
2 tuần 14 tiếng trước - 2 tuần 12 tiếng trước
I'm so glad someone did this because I just bought a 25PW1C-C3(only difference is it includes a USB-C to USB-C cable instead) and Windows refused to detect any hard drive that I put in it. The Device Manager showed nothing. I tested 6 hard drives in size ranging from 60GB-750GB and only a 160GB Toshiba was detected in it. Just for context I also have a 25PW1-U3(JMS578) and all the hard drives that I tested are detected just fine in it.
It has the same controller down to the last digit as the pic on the first post so I downloaded your package and updated the firmware. First hard drive I tested in it was a Seagate 750GB and it was detected YAY! however Windows is saying I need to re-initialze the hard drive. Is this normal? I'm going to backup the files before doing this.
EDIT: Windows tried to re-initalize the hard drive but gave a hardware error. I am going to guess the JMS576 controller chip is bad. Going to reflash the original firmware and return this garbage enclosure.
