INTEL I225-V Problèmes ?

Hi all, I hadn't noticed because I use the Marvell AQC-107 chipset But by testing the I225-V chipset and by reading various articles on the web that the chipset poses problems especially the Rev 1.x & 2.x The speed which normally should be 2.5Gb/s rather caps at 1Gb/s I managed to update to the latest NVM firmware but that does not solve the problem For information, I have a TPlink 2.5Gb/s 8-port switch and CAT7 & 8 cables with a 2.5Gb/s fiber connection. Do you also have problems with the I225-V or I225-LM .

I am afraid that your problem is the same what has been described here: wccftech.com/intel-400-series-chipsets-z...r-issue-fix-2h-2020/ and the Errata by Intel: www.intel.com/i225v1
From my understanding, the chip itself is defective and only works correctly with some routers.

Edit: Check into this topic , there are some solutions posted, which maybe could help

yes I have looked all over the net and no solution, I noticed on the new Asus Z490 bios, Asus is updating the i225 firmware

I am not sure whether this can be solved with a Firmware update, if I remember correctly, they had to exchange the boards with an updated chip V2

The Revion 2.x is also affected but a priori only compatibility problems with certain switches and a drop in speed like me currently Only Revision 3.x does not cause any problems
