Nouveau microcode 0X129 pour Cpus 13e/14e Gen

 

Msi diffuse actuellement un nouveau Bios pour les cartes mères Intel Z790 intégrants un nouveau Microcode 0x129 qui fort possible permet de mieux gérer les problèmes d'alimentation du CPU 13e & 14e générations qui rencontrent actuellement des problèmes de chauffes voir même une destruction du CPU
Voir ici  La vigilance est de mise si vous avez l'un de ces processeurs Intel - Les Numériques (lesnumeriques.com) Intel sait que ses Core Gen13 et 14 sont défectueux mais ne prévoit pas de rappel massif (tomshardware.fr)   MSI aussi sort ses premiers BIOS avec le microcode corrigé Raptor Lake, et nous livre son planning de sortie ! - Hardware & Co (hardwareand.co)
Intel avait promis après la découverte du problème dans leurs laboratoires, la fourniture d’un nouveau micro code courant Aout qui sera intégré aux nouveaux Bios. Msi et le premier à le proposer avec le Micro Code 0X129 après celui du 0x125.
Mais Asus, Asrock, Gigabyte, voir d’autres, suivront le pas d’ici quelques jours je pense.

De mon coté aucun soucis sur mon I14700K

My two MSI broads (B760 tomohawk & Z790 Pro) only received two new BIOS in this august so far, but both contains MCU 0x125, the interim fixed
not the actual MCU 0x129

let me/us know if anyone received the MCU 0x129 on their Mobo.

it's likely that your MSI B760 Tomahawk & Z790 Pro boards will get the MCU 0x129 update later this August and not immediately

The 1st batch of BIOS releasing models are MEG Z790 GODLIKE MAX, MEG Z790 ACE MAX, MPG Z790 CARBON MAX WIFI II, MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI, MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI and Z790MPOWER. All BIOS of Intel 700 and 600 series motherboards and 14th /13th Generation Desktop PC will be released soon in coming weeks by the end of August. After Msi, Asrock and Asus, Gigabyte will soon have to integrate the new 0X129 codes into their Bios.

Seems they're pushing the MCU 0x129 to their high end (expensive) mobos first
it's always been like this for every brand i.e. priorities their expensive/high-end SKU first

Anyway, let's wait for another week or two. After all, we all gonna get that MCU (for 6xx & 7xx series mobo) sooner or later.
