That's the problem with the installer, it just installs the drivers regardless whether necessary or not.
However, v6.0.9452.1 does the same, the files are also there.
I compared both packages, the only difference I found is the following line:
v6.0.9452.1: RmvIntelAudDrv = 1
v6.0.9459.1: RmvIntelAudDrv = 0
Not sure whether this causes that also not required drivers are installed

Cheers
Tom

Ok good. Will try to change this specific line and compare the results. The driver from my support page will not install all those random drivers. Thank you and sorry for the triple post.

New UAD MSI driver 6.0.9459.1 - released 1/11/2023

any idea why this driver compared to 6.0.9452.1 from z490 a-pro support page  will install a bunch of random extensions that i usually don't see in driverstore explorer ? should i stick to the official version my motherboard use or not ?

I think it might be a setup installer bug not cleaning up or removing those non-essential extension inf files, especially on modern & superfast SSD drives

the 6.0.9452.1 UAD MSI driver from your MB page has a setup.ini file with "RmvIntelAudDrv = 1", which is correct (and should remove the old versions before installing the new versions after a reboot)
the 6.0.9452.1 NB & 6.0.9459.1 NB MSI drivers have a modded setup.ini file with "RmvIntelAudDrv = 0" (I had to use Microsoft's old windiff.exe file comparison tool to compare the setup.ini files from the 9452 "mb" and the 9452/9459 "nb" driver packs)

mb > motherboard
nb > notebook

edit - tried to reproduce or replicate this with the setup.ini file using "RmvIntelAudDrv" entry either at 0 or 1 on my Gigabyte board with ALC892 & on a 500Gb SATA HDD and I'm not getting the problem you were experiencing, virgolicidaniel
only the required/essential codec & extension inf files for my Gigabyte board (that would be only hdxgigabyte.inf & HDX_GigabyteExt_RTK.inf) were listed in Rapr on my end after driver install

Is there any driver suitable for ALC711?

what kind of computer are you using, geneticplasma?

only PCs I know of that use ALC711 are some certain Dell laptops (ex. this 10.0.66.187 Realtek audio driver mentions ALC711 for Dell Precision 5770 & XPS 17 9720 notebook/laptop PCs - this is a Realtek SoundWire HW Audio Codec Device Driver and not your typical standard/traditional Realtek HDA/UAD driver)

so obtain the Realtek drivers from the vendor/manufacturer's web site of your computer

You are right, I use a DELL Laptop (Latitude 9420) and I already know DELL support page for this model .

But DELL and most other vendors are very slow in updating drivers, so I really appreciate SD

As I already checked, there are no Realtek driver versions like 10.x.x.x.

What does it mean "Realtek SoundWire HW Audio Codec Device Driver" + "not typical"? Is it good or is it bad?

What does it mean "Realtek SoundWire HW Audio Codec Device Driver" + "not typical"?

not typical means you will only find it in very few hardware (in this case few select Dell laptop models)
Realtek Soundwire HW Codecs use a "very different" interface than the "standard" & widely used Realtek HD Audio Codec hardware and use vastly different drivers

[geneticplasma post=515 userid=11855]Is it good or is it bad?[/quote]

that depends on how you use the audio and which settings you use from the Realtek audio control panel provided by the drivers, so I don't know
