Re: Universal Intel Chipset Drivers Updater
1 day 11 hours ago - 1 day 11 hours agoHi,
If anyone here has a device with the Intel Smart Sound Technology (SST) audio driver, could you please post a screenshot from the updater – specifically the detection and installation screens? I'd like to verify that everything is being detected correctly.
Thanks in advance!
Marcin
Dear @FirstEver, I'd like to help. However, I didn't quite understand what you're asking for. Perhaps it's due to my lack of software knowledge.
My computer is an old HP laptop with an 11th_Gen_Intel(R)_Core(TM)_i3-1115G4_@_3.00GHz\_1 processor.

Thank you for sharing the method for unpacking the SetupChipset.exe archive and extracting the INF/CAT files.
This is a much better method than " digging out " those files using Driver Store Explorer in VM.
I will update my thread on GitHub .
Thanks again!

Additional Tool - Universal Intel INF Extractor
Today, I am releasing a new, fully automated tool called Universal Intel INF Extractor (universal-intel-inf-extractor.ps1), capable of unpacking any Intel Chipset Device Software installer—from version 10.0.13.0 up to the latest ones, such as 10.1.20658.8883.
What’s more, this tool will be able to scan—for example—all .exe files in a specified directory (including subdirectories), detect Intel Chipset Device Software installers, and then extract them all in a single pass.
