I have had murder getting my AQC113C/AQC113's not randomly reconnecting constantly even at forced 2.5Gbps

Z690 Aorus Master + 12900K onboard AQC113C Fixed by replacing 2M Cat7 cable with 2M Ugreen Cat8 Cable
Z390 Aorus Master + 9900KS Fenvi AQC113C PCIe Card Fixed by replacing 2M Cat7 cable with 2m Ugreen Cat8 Cable
Z690 Aorus Elite AX + 12900K Fenvi AQC113C contstantly reconnecting
Ugreen 8M Cat8 Cable didnt fix it
Replace with NicGiga AQC113 Rev 2.0 PCIE 3.0x4 or 4.0x1 didnt fix it

it turns out AQC113/AQC113C is super sensitive to 2.4Ghz RFI from USB Cables that are not shielded very well
moving my 4 x USB 2.0 Extensions as far as i can away from the NIC + Cable was the problem
and stopped the constant disconnects

I have replaced the really old USB 2.0 Extensions with some thick shielded JEYI USB 3.0 ones now and havnt had a probem since

Also since replacing the USB Extensions i no longer get about 1 in 4 iperf3 reply's at 6.5Gbps
its a pretty steady 9.49Gbps now or 9.91Gbps with Jumbo Frames

My Realtek 2.5Gbps Nics dont suffer with this problem each machine has 2 RTL8125's and an AQC113 in them
the RTL8125's have been solid even with the 2.4Ghz RFI

So its something to be aware of with AQC113 + AQC113C

The reason I got it is because I don't use CAT8 cable and clip-on ferrites on all cables.

Ok whilst AQC113/AQC113C is more touchy than some other brand nic's
It turns out me replacing USB cables was just lowering the chances of problems it didnt fix it on this pc

I replaced the Cat5E cable months ago with a Ugreen Cat8 Cable
and it has still been bad since

I replaced The AQC113C for an AQC113 still problems
anyway my tiny brain didnt think for a second that the Ugreen 8M Cat8 Cable may be bad
i was thinking 12V or 3.3V power instability in this PC, or RFI, or UEFI problems with Gigabyte and Aquantia Nic's
and all sort of things it turns out i was just over thinking it

Just on a whim when i was in the shed 36 hours ago i unspooled 10M of Cat5E from one of my 305M roll's of network cables
and made a cable

Long story cut short the cable i replaced months ago was bad
the replacement Ugreen 8M Cat 8 cable was also bad

I wired the 10M Cat5e cable up 36 hours ago and spent 30 hours smashing the nic with iperf3 from the AQC113C PCIE 3.0 X2 (9900KS) to the AQC113 PCIE 3.0 X4 or PCIE 4.0 x1 (12900K)
not a single problem or disconnect

I have just set jumbo frames (9014) as a few of my nic's on the lan thats the max) and started smashing it some more

This is all whilst Using 2 x SFP+ to 10 Gbps RJ45 Modules (1 x 30m module + 1x 80m module) on a MaxLinear MxL86282 8 Port 2.5Gbps + 2 Port SFP+ Switch
Whilst waiting for my 12 Port 10Gbps Managed Switch (RTL9313+RTL8264B 8 Port 10Gbps RJ45 + 4 Port SFP+)

Will be using Optics for all uplinks to switches in the near term i have all of the parts on order
and replacing all of my in wall/floor Cat5E cables with Cat7 23AWG SFP + Cat7 + Cat8 Keystones
and running optics around the house for uplinks

Huge Rewire Planned
(just waiting on all the parts to arrive and a month rewiring the house...)
Code:

Amazon are sending a Replacement Ugreen 8M Cat8 Cable tomorrow
it doesnt matter how much you pay for a pre-made cable bad ones get in the system
I have a Pile of these Ugreen Cat8 Cables including a 15M one and they have been good
apart from this 8M one

Moral of the story check then check again then check again the cables

Since I am a maniac, I have been installing EFI filters on all my network cables for three years because they pass through electrical cables and other cables that can be parasitic.
