Hello to all of you and thank you again for your loyalty,
Today I want to know if you are satisfied with the site since the change of the server and some touch-ups of the color and the change of the theme of the Forum.
Of course I am aware that there may still be work to do but the biggest part is done

Re: Nouveau microcode 0X129 pour Cpus 13e/14e Gen
3 months 4 days agoSeems they're pushing the MCU 0x129 to their high end (expensive) mobos firstMy two MSI broads (B760 tomohawk & Z790 Pro) only received two new BIOS in this august so far, but both contains MCU 0x125, the interim fixed
not the actual MCU 0x129
let me/us know if anyone received the MCU 0x129 on their Mobo.

it's likely that your MSI B760 Tomahawk & Z790 Pro boards will get the MCU 0x129 update later this August and not immediatelyThe 1st batch of BIOS releasing models are MEG Z790 GODLIKE MAX, MEG Z790 ACE MAX, MPG Z790 CARBON MAX WIFI II, MPG Z790 CARBON WIFI, MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI and Z790MPOWER. All BIOS of Intel 700 and 600 series motherboards and 14th /13th Generation Desktop PC will be released soon in coming weeks by the end of August. MSI will continue to update our users on the latest news. Please follow MSI’s official channels and check the product pages for the latest BIOS updates.
it's always been like this for every brand i.e. priorities their expensive/high-end SKU first
Anyway, let's wait for another week or two. After all, we all gonna get that MCU (for 6xx & 7xx series mobo) sooner or later.
which specific MAG B760 Tomahawk board do you have, SM-003? this one or this one {using DDR4} ?
looks like the B760 Tomahawk & Z790 Pro boards got new beta Bios versions around mid-August with MCU 0x129

I wrote that on 9th Aug 2024, after that, on 14th (Aug), MSI released the v129 MC BETA BIOS updates for many other boards including that one.
Apart from that B670, I also have another MSI Z790 D5 board, that also received the MC v129 update on that same date i.e. 14th Aug 24
