Hi yes you can update the firmware but make a backup because there are risks but normally you can do a recovery
But look with the Mptool file the version and compare
The mptool is provided with the firmware or on other firmware on the chipset page, you just have to choose the right firmware from the MPTOOL
Test enclosure Ugreen

Thank you for your reply. Do you know if the firmware 220906_D1_45_01.bin is stable ?
However, on your link, it says ASM135x whereas on the product sheet where I bought it, it says ASM235CM ?
The firmware delivered with MPTool 2.1.21.5 is 171120_D1_1E_80.bin

Here's what I see on the screen once I've opened the software :
The current firmware is 171120_D1_E1_80
Can I update to version 220906_D1_45_01.bin ?
No need to change PIDs or anything, just flash the new firmware ?

I just tested and got a FAIL message. However, if I go back to the software, the firmware has changed.
Should I reflash it as a precaution ?
