My microphone have had no sound since 6.0.9780.1. I have ROG Zephyrus M16 2021. Also, whenever I use a 3.5mm headphone, the "sound settings" in settings doesn't respond.
In my case with Windows 11 24H2, the cause is the APO component beingv13.0.6000.1505, v13.1.6000.1076 worked fine and the mic works again.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. I tried 13.1.6000.1076 and 13.0.6000.1167 but they neither worked. Thanks for your help.

Instead of being hidden within the Forum, there needs to be categories for Realtek searchable via  www.station-drivers.com/index.php/en/com...ek/Audio/lang,en-gb/
for these:
Realtek Audio Universal Service  (version 1.0.808.8 dated 11/19/2024)
Realtek Hardware Support Application (version 11.0.6000.353 dated 11/18/2024)
The free & upgraded paid "driver updater" software called "Driver Genius" tends to find these driver updates very quickly after release.
It should be possible to obtain these drivers via the paid version of Driver Genius, then post them at station-drivers.
Note: the free version of Driver Genius is limited to one driver update per 24 hours, and no driver updates 5 days after installation.
Even with these limitations, the free version still remains useful for deletion of outdated & superseded driver files.
Old superseded video card drivers can occupy over one gigabyte of storage, for example.

It could be the other realtek  software components as you really have to roll back the drivers.  In my case, I wouldn't have known the mic was not working.  It was more because I have a app called ManyCam, usually it starts up and minimizes but in this case, it started up and then complained the mic was disabled so what I did was uninstalled the Waves software component and also the Realtek Drivers and Software Component and then started first using the Dell provided Realtek UAD Driver from 2020 and added Waves software component which is what my system uses as it doesn't have the Realtek Hardware Support Accelerator and everything worked, then I actually upgraded the Realtek UAD Drivers and the Realtek Software Components, only a few needed updates and it broke the mic so the way to do it was to rollback each thing in the software components and in my case, it was the first item at the top of Device Manager, the APO.  100% of the time, I only test to see if the audio output is working, I never test if the mic works or not unless I needed to use the mic and it didn't work but I never use the mic 99% of the time.
