Hello to all of you and thank you again for your loyalty,
Today I want to know if you are satisfied with the site since the change of the server and some touch-ups of the color and the change of the theme of the Forum.
Of course I am aware that there may still be work to do but the biggest part is done

Re: NVME USB drives Realtek RTL9210/RTL9220 Firmware Version 1.xx
2 semanas 1 dia atrás - 2 semanas 1 dia atrásOf course I've dumped the original config and firmware
I'd like to update to 1.33.44, but flash with this always fails (Update progress 100%, Update Status fail)
Also tried updating to,
"Realtek_RTL9210_1.32.87.082923(station-drivers.com)"
"realtek_rtl9210_1.32.68(station-drivers.com)"
"realtek_rtl9210B_1.31.17b(station-drivers.com)"
"RTL9210A-1.29.8_and_B-1.30.21station-drivers.com)"
"RTL9210B_1.32.901.120722(station-drivers.com)"
and a few others from the 1.3xxxx
...but updating firmware terminates with fail status (Update progress 100%, Update Status fail)
I've tried flashing together with dumped original cfg (: replaced with = )parameters and with the cfg from MPTool, same issue.
So far the firmware version e.g. "Realtek_9210AB_V1.29.12(station-drivers.com)" flashes successfully (Update progress 100%, Update Status success)
By the way replacing gd file "UTGDFW_B_v4.22.27.081220.bin" renaming it, and using "RTL9210B_gd_v4.30.23.071922" from newer firmware pack instead, renamed to "UTGDFW_B_v4.22.27.081220.bin", enforcing MPTool to use it,
flashes also succefully with Realtek_9210AB_V1.29.12(station-drivers.com)"
The unbricking method works, but it refuses to update any of the 1.3xx firmwares.
PS: I got update 1.33.44 working on another adapter to 1.33.44 where I had initially same problem
but it was a pain to get it done there and I do not remember the concrete steps which led to success.
I remember later one 1.3xx firmwares worked out with MPTool-Mini and 1.32xxx later also with normal MPTool succeeded, and then the 1.33.44 succeeded too.
---
Tried the same with the other three 9210B adapters but it always fails, so I am stuck (update progress 100%, Update status fail)
--
Copying EEPROM-content with external programmer from the one adapter where got 1.33.44 working to the other three 9210B adapters...
....does not make them show 1.33.44 in MPTool.
...still same issue Update status fail in MPTool with all 1.3xx Firmwares
All the four adapters certainly have 9210B printed on the chip
So I need find the trick for flashing with MPTool successfully.
Any hints what could make it work?

Re: NVME USB drives Realtek RTL9210/RTL9220 Firmware Version 1.xx
1 semana 5 dias atrás - 1 semana 5 dias atrás- Tested all ports on two PCs:
- First PC: AMD 9800X3D on an MSI X670E TOMAHAWK motherboard.
- Second PC: Intel i5-8500 on a B360 motherboard (I think).
- Updated to five different firmware versions, all passing successfully. Currently running v1.33.44.
- Used five different cables, including USB-A to USB-C and USB-C to USB-C.
- Tested with and without an NVMe drive installed—still getting USB 2.0 speeds.
- I tried 3-different NVMe SSDs. Gen3 Seagate 1TB, Gen4 Silicon Power 2TB, Gen4 Klevv 1TB.

I did a dump before any updates, but followed earlier instructions of removing the lines after the space, changing the : to = etc, and overwrote the same file so lost the details at the end. Also, when I put it in the updater, it seemed to have changed the file too, converting 0x00 to "false", etc.. This is all I have of my original config.

The enclosure is working now just the same as when i started the process on an older firmware. The only problem that has been there through ALL updates is that the port is running at USB 2.0. Here's part of the status from Hard Disk Sentinel:
