Are you using a Corporate or a Consumer Intel Me on your motherboard. That might be the reason you can't update.

There is another error : there is no utillity inside the file to update the firmware. On the website is mentionned that the file includes the utility . I have tried with the utility of Firmware version 11.8.93...  but I get an error message saying that there is an error with the file . I think the file is corrupt. I have an Asus H170 pro and I used the corporate version (5 MB version). This motherboard uses the corporate version of ME .

I have the same problem but with the consumer 1.5mb version.
