you're welcome, even though the 6.0.9797.1 Asus driver is not "listed" nor quite designed for the 2021 ROG Zephyrus M16 series laptops and listed for certain " ASUS Vivobook Pro 15 {M6500, AMD Ryzen 5000 series} " laptops (click on the "Show all" link in the Audio driver section to expand the list of available audio drivers)

also, check the version of the Intel Smart Sound Technology [Intel SST] bus driver installed on your 2021 Zephyrus M16 laptop ( Tech Specs of those laptops indicate they use 11th gen Intel Core CPUs like i9-11900H)   Recent audio drivers like 6.0.9797.1 used on laptop PCs with Intel CPUs (NOT AMD CPUs) require an updated or recent Intel SST bus driver (like v10.29.00.8467 or even v10.29.00.11472 from Microsoft Update )  as well for optimal performance & bug fixes.  run Device Manager {devmgmt.msc} and look for the devices that mention about "Intel Smart Sound" {usually found in the "System devices" section and update those drivers first, reboot and then update the Realtek audio driver to v6.0.9797.1 and reboot again.

must update BOTH the Realtek audio driver AND the Intel Smart Sound Technology bus driver (if the laptop in question uses Intel processors)
