I have an enclosure that has a ASM2364 controller and I was wondering is it possible to backup the old firmware before flashing the enclosure with the newer firmware.

If it is possible I haven't found a way to this can someone please if you know how.

Hi, I don't think this is possible except through a programmer.

There is a tool to backup 2364 and below 2464 support hasnt been added yet

@admin out of curiosity from where do these firmwares come from ? Directly from Asmedia ?

ps: struggling to find a version which can solve disconnection/reconnection problem from a external SSD enclosure on a specific computer ... Ends up thinking it's probably this specific computer's USB4 ports the problem :/
