Hi,
- If the box works correctly on all ports and the flow rate is reduced, this may be firmware which allows good compatibility with the disk.
- The problem may also be due to the USB 3.2 chipset of the PC which is causing the problem (check if there is a bios update which corrects the problem)
- Also check if your PC is not energy saving in terms of management, because this affects the speed of the USB 3.2 port (do the test)

I seem to have bricked my 9210B based adapter after trying to update from some early (2020, v1.20) firmware using this package:
www.station-drivers.com/index.php/en/com...own/5989/lang,en-gb/
The tool seemingly auto-detected the adapter and selected seemingly correct files for it but the upgrade process failed.
I reconnected the adapter but it is no longer recognized by the tool or Windows in general.
Is there any kind of failsafe flash mode? Or can I buy some cheap flash programmer to rewrite the firmware? (I am not sure if this is possible since the tool uses 3 separate files for flashing.)
It was a fairly cheap Chinese adapter. I tried to update the firmware because the changelog mentioned improved 4k random speeds and the measured 4k random read was significantly slower compared to native PCI-e port (I attached an Optane drive to it which has relatively high 4k random speeds).

Thank you. The "recovery mode" itself works. However, I am clueless about what and how to flash for the board to work. I tried the last 3 versions but all failed. When I flashed it first time, it was a "success" but now all attempts are "fail" (after 99%). And the board doesn't work after the auto-reset or full deattaching/reattaching. I guess I need some "special" config file for this board.

Have you tried on a USB 2.0 port because some USB 3.x ports cause problems
