After update nvidia lastest driver 531.29, London2038_dx9 game client is unplayable, stuck at game splash screen, can not enter the game, but London2038_dx10 is normal and unaffected, has anyone encountered it?

It seems that most DX9-based games with Intel 13th generation Core + NVIDIA 40 series graphics platform, cannot be entered normally, the screen is black after launching, including Hellgate London 2018 Steam, Sacred 2 Gold, etc...The release of a new version driver v531.41 WHQL does not improve this problem. Now the last without issue driver version is v531.26 hotfix.

I am one of the mods of laptopvideo2go.com and I asked awhile back about if there were differences between the desktop and notebook versions of drivers and was told they were identical.  In the case of 531.41, the file size is identical between notebook and desktop.  I know 14+ years ago, they were different as Nvidia only released Desktop drivers so the inf had to be modded before notebook could use it.  With that said, I am using the desktop drivers without issues on my Dell XPS 15 9570 notebook.   Maybe the notebook version might just be more optimized for power consumption.

Did you try doing a clean install by using the custom option when installing to see if it made a difference?  Failing that, might want to read and post in this thread so at least NVIDIA knows about it:

Seems like you already posted there as Lod_Izual.
