Realtek HDA/UAD/Component Drivers

Speaking about Intel SST drivers, I remember trying the ones from MUC and it always disables the mic on my Dell XPS 15 9570 notebook as I forgot which one had the exclamation mark, the Audio Controller or the OED. The only newer ones that worked were the ones from another Realtek UAD driver for a different Dell system which included Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller v10.23.0.3349 & Intel® Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) OED v10.23.3349.219 & Intel® Smart Sound Technology Detection Verification v1.0.3428.0 which I extracted and then manually installed.

With Realtek UAD Audio Driver v6.0.9788.1 drivers, Realtek Audio Universal Service v1.0.833.0 drivers, Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.1.6000.1076 drivers, it works fine under Windows 11 24H2 Build 26120.3360 Beta but with Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 and Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1565 drivers, mic gets disabled. However, on March 8, 2025 - I did end up getting everything working with Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1505 and Realtek Audio Effects Component (APO1) v13.0.6000.1565 drivers and the mic is working properly.

A few days late in mentioning these UAD/DCH drivers from certain manufacturers since my family & I had recently changed our internet modem & WiFi network router due to them no longer providing reliable internet connections {kept on dropping both WiFi & wired/ethernet connections almost frequently this year, which didn't occur in past years}:

Right now I'm using the 9768.1 MSI driver for desktop, I have a question, can I update to this NB/Laptop driver? are there any difference between NB/Laptop and the other one? I see that NB/Laptop drivers are updated more often.

a bunch of new MSI laptop based Realtek audio driver versions were released for recent 2025 MSI laptop models that were announced back in early January 2025 and such drivers were released between late January 2025 to early March 2025.

what kind of MSI desktop board are you using, Warkratos?
and yes you can try installing or updating to the recent 6.0.9800.1 MSI driver version, though I would recommend completely uninstalling the existing 9768.1 driver first, reboot and then clean install the 9800.1 version and reboot again (all while disconnected from the internet when doing the uninstall existing drivers & new install drivers; never leave an open or active internet connection while removing & installing drivers, otherwise Microsoft may install its own Realtek audio MSI drivers without your consent on a Win10/Win11 OS; only after the 9800.1 version is installed, re-establish the internet connection)

btw, the 6.0.9768.1 MSI driver currently comes in both desktop board MB and specific NB/laptop packages (the laptop version of 9768.1 got released in late February 2025)
