Marvell AQC113C FourPartID Firmware updater edit

The one that doesnt Support WOL
comes with 1.3.21 updating it doesnt fix wol
something seems to be missing in the card to support wol
i have a dump of its firmware but dont know what actual file version it is
due to not having a firmware package of all the 1.3.21 firmwares to compare

a fair time later they changed suppliers of card manufacturer and released
SR-PT01-AQC113 REV:2.0
it comes with 1.5.38 that i have dumped and binary compared to be
AQC113-DirtyWake_Bx-1.5.38_bdp_aqsign.clx CRC32 380801D1

by the looks of it that same manufacturer also makes an AQC113C that nicgiga are also selling

It would be nice to get a dump of this firmware
do you have any way to dump the firmware from the chip maybe?
i would be interested to try that firmware dump on the old AQC113C that doesnt support WOL

It makes sense that they would sell the AQC113C as its a feature cut+cost down AQC113
so would be cheaper to make

My guess is they changed suppliers to get a card with working WOL and such
then at a later date the same supplier offered them an AQC113C card with working wol
for less money than the AQC113

I can try to get a dump if there's a way to do it by running some Linux or Windows tool. I don't have the physical tools to desolder the chip and dump the flash. I might have some old device which could be programmed into a ROM dumper using bit banging, but don't have the skill either way to remove and resolder the chip if that's how you did it before. Would definitely be interested in helping if I have the means to. Let me know how you did it before.

If you don't mind sending me a PM with more details I can buy a few things and give it a try and time allows. If I can do it without desoldering then I'm willing to give it a try. Would my nice to have a backup in case a future updates borks it.
