I have not got this unit, I just wanted to help you with the review photo...
Though as it is NOT Realtek chip I could not know how could you do it.
There is the another review:
"Asmedia ASM2364 which is fine in terms of pure performance, but will not allow you to do SMART or low level access to the disk for FW upgrades. I did manage to update the firmware for the ASM2364 chip using a generic Asmedia flash a utility from Startech, as Yottamaster will not provide anything."

I have both an ASM2362 & 2364 case but each chipset works with their respective firmwares
Configuration
Asus Z790 Pro Art, Intel Cpu I7 14700K, Memoires 32Go Corsair DDR5 (6000Mhz CL30), Water-cooling Thermaright, nVidia Geforce RTX3060, Alimentation Asus ROG 850W, Samsung SSD 990 Pro, SSD980 Pro, Clavier Roccat Vulkan , Souris Asus, Boitier NZXT H6, HP Creative SB Kratos Free Fibre 10Gb Cable CAT8/7, Switch 10/5/2.5Gbps, Casque Philips Fedelis.

I have all three ASM2362, ASM2364 & ASM2464PD enclosures but each chipset works with their respective firmwares.

I understand the ASM chips working with their respective firmware but what I'm not sure about is do you also have to use a certain Configure file the way you do when flashing a RTL9210B controller.
