I've flashed successfully from the 2019 FW to this 2020 FW no problem on my Orico with 2364 chipset www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B27CWK1V

Will update if I run into any problems but working great so far.

I then tried to flash AS_PCIE_210527_81_3A_00 but it returns Chip & FW don't match. I've tried flashing with the controller programmed ahead of time with product ID 2362 or 2364. Either way doesn't work.

I'm noticing that even though ASM-2362 and ASM-2364 are the same series, nearly all discussion regarding AS_PCIE_210527_81_3A_00 is of users with ASM-2362. Maybe there is something meaningfully different that won't allow the 2362 firmware to be flashed to my particular Orico with 2364 controller.

I'm getting a Yottamaster enclosure that has a ASM2364 and I was wondering what I need to know before updating the firmware.

Is it like updating a RTL9210B controller where you need a certain configure file for your certain model of enclosure.

I'm getting the 20Gbps model in the link.

@Galixte I was wondering if you can provide step by step instructions on how to flash an ASM2364 chip,I have seen a video and I know it's not as straight forward as flashing a RTL9210B controller.

I watched this video and I can see the guy load in a .Bin file but I don't have a .Bin file for the Yottamaster enclosure is it possible to make your own .Bin folder by reading the enclosure somehow with the MPTool.

The other thing I don't understand is why the guy has to make a new .Bin in the video,do you have to make a new .Bin file every time you want to flash the enclosure with new firmware.

I have the Yottamaster 20Gbps(NVMe)-Grey enclosure from this link.
