Does that mean Intel is abandoning the old (8-10th Gen) hardwares related to those HWIDs?
Any official or unofficial statement /info regarding this?

I have no idea, but hard to believe Intel abandons so soon WiFi for 8-10th generation..
My guess, that these are pre-release drivers by Microsoft (developed by Intel) to support WiFi 7 and later incorporated into official releases.

Cheers
