but the Fujitsu specific edition may be optimized for certain Fujitsu based laptop/desktop pcs rather than the generic Realtek 11.031.50 driver you mentioned

No, but what Fujitsu did, is combining the Windows 10, Windows 11 drives and the Alll-In-One into one download.
However, they removed several Subsystem IDs and added additional drivers which I cannot judge for the moment where they came from.

Cheers

version 1168.031.50.0603 from Fujitsu / FSAS Technologies (released 10/15/2026?) - { download here }
-for Windows 11 only
-support "Power Saving"

Fujitsu is no longer the only OEM that released a Realtek 1168.31 LAN driver for Win11

Dell has one too :)

version 1168.031.50.0603 / 1168.31.603.2026 from Dell { download here - info } (released 10/26/2026)
-for Windows 11 only
-support "Power Saving"

Same as Fujitsu, removing some Subsystem IDs of the original driver and adding 2 driver packages with additional Subsystem IDs from 2020 and 2023 which are for both packages identical.
One difference though for the registry in the Dell drivers:
Dell: :HKR,"DMA Management",RemappingSupported,0x00010001,0
Fujitsu: HKR,"DMA Management",RemappingSupported,0x00010001,1
Original:
HKR,"DMA Management",RemappingSupported,0x00010001,1

They are all based on the Original Realtek Driver v11.031.50, with removing some Subsystem IDs.

Cheers
