Please help - my device (Ugreen CM559) is no longer identified

What happened:
  • The device wasn't recognized by my MacBook, but by my Windows laptop (showed up in device manager as JMICRO JMS583)
  • I downloaded the file from this post and decided to go with the latest (2.1.4)
  • I read through Details.txt
  • Started by creating a backup
    • ran FwUpdateTool_v1_19_17_6
    • Found device with firmware version of 65.01.00.02
    • Ticked RD Version
    • Ticked Backup Old Firmware Only
    • Ran
    • file fw.bin of 66k was generated
    • exited the application
  • Then I moved on to the actual update
    • I removed the NVMe to be safe
    • Reran FwUpdateTool_v1_19_17_6
    • Ticked RD Version
    • Unticked NVRAM
    • Loaded JMS583-STD-Release-v00.02.01.04-Bus Power from Firmwares
    • Ran
    • When asked I powered-off
After powering on the device is no longer showing in device manager nor the update tools
Is there anything I can do to make it show up again?

Thanks in advance
Andy

Can you send me a link to your enclosure and also take the NVMe out and let me see what the board looks like,a lot of the enclosure's that use the JMS583 use the very same board and I may have a back up of my firmware I can email to you.
Please send me a link to it as well.

What you needed to do was to save the firmware first that way you can always revert back if needed if the backed up firmware was good, read below that is the way to do it.

1 Tick RD Version

2 Tick Include JMS57x/8x NVRAM

3 Tick Backup Old Firmware Only

To load your old bin file setting's into the new
firmware follow these steps.

1 Tick RD Version

2 Load File and browse it to the firmware you want
  to update to

3 Untick Include JMS57x/8x NVRAM
Unticking JMS57x/8x NVRAM will leave the old
  configuration setting's in place.

4 Click run

@Andrew77 Ask @Shonk or @admin I think one of them reviewed that UGreen enclosure that you have,I didn't see that you had already listed the model in your first post and I don't have that model's firmware.

@Laroldski

First of all thank you very much for your help.
Also, I am sorry for not being as complete as I thought I was.

I did a backup before anything else.
I even compared it to the corresponding file in FIrmwares\Old\JMS583-STD-Release-v65.01.00.02-Bus Power (UGREEN CM559) and it had showed three (3) deviations (Offsets 1045E to 10460)

My problem is, that the device is no longer recognized at all.
That is, it is not showing in device manager nor the update tool, so I cannot flash another firmware.

Do you still want to see pictures of the enclosure?
I don't know how to dismantle it to take photos of the board (pcb?)
