Linux can be tricky but you now this package www.station-drivers.com/index.php/en-us/...6.010923/lang,en-us/ have outdated UTGDFW

UTGDFW_B Version: 1.29.21 030422    04.03.2022 older
UTGDFW_B Version: 4.30.23 071922    19.07.2022 newer from jeyi

You can find it her: www.station-drivers.com/index.php/en/for...on-1-xx?start=65#721

Thanks!!

I used version 1.29.21. Apparently, it's working fine so far. Have you noticed any difference with the newer v4.30.23?

What do you think about my theory that the GD firmware is the bootloader that loads the main firmware?. Many embedded devices use this dual firmware setup, with one of them being the boatloader and the other one the main firmware. In many of those devices, the boatloader also implements the special flashing mode, that is used to flash the main firmware.

You might be right about that GD. The two firmwares came together from jeyi 4.30.23 + 1.32.16, although they manipulated the version number of the MPtool mini, well that's just the way it is we don't get anything else.

If anyone is interested in testing, here is the latest firmware from JEYI - version 1.32.49:
krakenfiles.com/view/jqXPOCvl13/file.html
I flashed it on my ORICO enclosure with custom config file and everything works fine.

I just tried flashing my Unionsine enclosure with v1.32.49 firmware and it made my enclosure's led stop working and Windows also says that my drive is write protected as well,I was able flash my enclosure back to v1.32.16 firmware, anyone have any idea why this happened.

The controller in my Unionsine enclosure is an RTL9210B

I also used HIKSEMI_MD202.cfg configure file which is the one I have been using all along because my Unionsine's enclosure dump file is the same as the HIKSEMI_MD202.cfg file.
